I read my friends review on a new book on living with German Shepherds and thought I'd have to chime in on a view things: At times, the author’s writing made me wonder if he’s ever lived with three German Shepherds in the house at the same time. It is still all very basic obedience. I do not use any prong/pinch collars, I don't use e-collars, all I use is a ball and my voice. Once she's got a command down you can play with your voice and put a little more pressure into it if necessary. After a couple of swissies and one blind search we've been working on distractions. She had to sit and stay in down while Connie threw the ball and the other dogs went after it. In order to build more stamina and endurance I've started biking with Indra. It was her very first time and she did not have any problems at all doing and really seems to like it. We went along the Highway and she had no problems with the cars, trucks or choppers either. It was so much fun going biking, however I have to get a new saddle because it looks like that it got damaged during the move.

Audie had his last vet appointment today. They pulled the strings and gave green light. Meaning he's allowed to go crazy again. After the vet we went to Tractor Supply to get some Jolly Balls because they can't possibly lose those in the snow.  Once we got home we unpacked the balls, went outside and let them go nuts.
